Updated: May 30

May has been a busy month; with bouquets made and delivered, seedlings planted out, seeds sown, and the Chelsea Flower Show, lots has happened here at English Flowers!

But before I get into the notes from the cutting garden, here is what is to come in June:

From Wed 8th & Fri 10th June onwards, every week we will have both Wednesday & Friday flowers here on the website. £25 and free local delivery to GU21/GU22 postcodes.

You can always email me for a special order gift bouquet delivered Mon to Fri, from £35.

Notes from the Cutting Garden

May has been all about the flowers, every week bouquets cut from my garden have been flowering homes all over Woking.

Last week, the first stems ever were cut from the field too! Beautiful Orlaya Grandiflora sown last September. And, the first of the roses have begun blooming at the field.

As well as working with all the flowers, I have been planting out hundreds of seedlings and platelets (including Achillea, Statice, Oregano, Mint, Fennel, Nicotiana, Cosmos, Sunflowers, Snapdragons and more).

The most exciting planting was definitely the dahlias. 160 incredible plants, with over 15 varieties. I can't wait to share their beauty with you in late summer and autumn time.

Lastly, I attended the Chelsea Flower Show and wow what a treat! I hope to make a YouTube video chatting through what I saw, loved and was inspired by, so do head over there and join me.
